Dear Creative Soul,

I am writing you this letter because I feel that I need to tell you about nothing.

Nothing is the best thing you can do for yourself. It is magical and full of wonder.

It is a way of living that is filled with adventure. It is so wild and free and liberating, especially if you are caught in the “always have to seem like you do something”- way of living.

When you do absolutely nothing, you open your mind up for inspiration. Your mind will get bored with tossing all sorts of meaningless thoughts to you, and you? You just sit and wait for the ideas to leap through and grab hold of you.

When you expect nothing, everything that happens on a day will be a beautiful, fantastic surprise.

You just sit in the windowsill and stare at nothing. You see nothing but clouds, you feel nothing but content sitting there.

So tomorrow, when you wake up, ask yourself, “What am I going to do today?”

Then reply, “Oh, nothing!”

And then do it!

And smile.
Because nothing speaks of gleeful adventures in doing nothing, than that smile.
