I write a list of five things I am grateful for every day in my journal. When you make a list like that, it is often hard to think of things to be grateful for. And then you are forced to think smaller.
And thinking smaller, to see all the small blessings in my life, that has been the biggest change. Looking at my life each day and really seeing all the good that is in it, that makes all the difference in the world.
So when I write that I am really grateful for my tea on a day, or the fact that I have a bullet journal, or the fact that I saw a bird play in the garden, those simple blessings become life.
Here is a list of things I am grateful for, today. What is yours?
- My husband, for the way he looks at me when we laugh together.
- The purring kitty next to me.
- My iPad, it is old and hasn't been updated in quite a while, but it still does what I need it to do.
- My morning smoothies.
- My awesome writing partner.
